CELT is currently accepting applications for a year-long scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) institute for faculty and staff. This year's request is targeting two areas of interest:
- projects focusing on student learning outcomes embedded within learning communities
- projects focusing on the implementation of ISUComm principles in upper division courses.

The ISU University Museums Art Essay Contest is offered annually. Four $125 awards are given to the best essays written on ISU art in English 150 or 250 during either the fall or spring semester. This contest encourages students to write for audiences beyond the ISUComm Foundation Courses classroom.
